Contribution for the exhibition «Groundswell», MoMA, New York, 2004/2005
A cinematic portrait of a piece of modern urban landscape design by Christophe Girot. The Architect Girot together with the Curator Peter Reed (MomA) invited me to portrait this piece of the city Berlin in Germany. The 7 Minutes long Film was shown in the exhibition in New York together with several plans.
Based on Photographs taken by the Architect right after the fall of the Berlin Wall, the research for more historic documents started. German Historians worked on finding as many Pictures as possible. Some of them appear in the movie and mediate the transitions that piece of urban space achieved.
